THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG “LIVING GOD'

The song 'Living God' is coming from a place of self doubt, self evaluation and the search to know if God is real.

Having lost both parents, having been through several challenges and difficulties, the writer of the song took a deep dive into a personal quest to find answers to life challenges and the place of God in all of these.

The night before her father's funeral, there were several thoughts going through her mind, including the tribute she wrote for her late mum.

She then asked herself "with how you are feeling right now, do you still think that - God is still God no matter what?"

She came to a conclusion that God is who He says He is.

Everything scriptures say about God is and remains true.

She has not just read or heard but have also both seen and experienced God's love, mercy, kindness and power in her life.

God is still God, and a good Father, inspite of our thoughts, feelings, philosophy or what we might be going through right now.

God is God irrespective of our challenges and circumstances, it doesn't change who he is or what he can do and he'll always show up when the time is due which is why He is the 'Living God'.

Always remember this and trust Him to show up for you.
